A guy asked me out... I said yes

So, I just went on a date, with a guy! He asked me, "Want to go on a Valentine's date?" I laughed and said, "Sure. Why not!" I've never been asked out on a date before. It was quite flattering I must say.

Steven, the guy who asked me out, is quite an interesting guy. He is a guy who wants to know Jesus more and desires to know more about the word. We've been trying to hold each other accountable in diving deeper into the word. Key word being "trying".

No, Steven is not gay. He only asked me out because we both are single and were the few people in our Small Group to not have any plans on Valentines day. All in fun. However, we did have dinner, had drinks, and saw a movie. The movie that we watched was "Taken" staring Liam Neeson.

Anyway, we had really good one-on-one time to get to know each others heart. I've been missing time like that spending with my friends while here. Chicago is a great place to live but when you start off knowing no one it gets a bit lonely. I'm forever looking and wanting to do/hang out with someone, ANYONE!

For once I had a good Valentine's day. My date was awesome! LOL!! Oh, my next blog is going to be on the reasons behind my lack of blogging. Sorry everyone
