Who says food has to be boring to be healthy! Pish posh!! You can cook a healthy and great tasting porkchop dinner without having it deep fried and battered in who knows what. My next dish is a healthy seared boneless porkchop with asparagus and a delicious breadcrumb topping that adds the perfect crunch to the meal. The recipe is below.

For Porkchops:
4 Bonless porkchops (about 6 ounces per serving)
1 tbs oregano
1 tps ground tyme
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbs olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
For breadcrumb topping
1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs
1/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley
2 cloves of garlic (crushed and diced)
2 tbs butter or olive oil
About 10 Asparagus
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season pork chops with first five ingredients. Heat pan on medium high heat and add olive oil. Add chops and sear until desired browness on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer chops to an oven safe dish and bake for 20 miuntes or internal temperature reaches 160.
In a large pot bring 5-6 cups of water to a boil. Shave or snip asparagus ends and add to boiling water for about two minutes. Remove immediately.
In a large skillet on medium heat add butter or olive oil and bring to simmer. Add breadcrumbs, diced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Stir until cheese melts. About two minutes. Remove from heat and pour topping over asparagus.
I hope you enjoy this healthy meal that's loaded with protein, calcium, iron, and potassium. Each serving is only about 275 calories! Not including the garlic bread pictured. :-)

Do you make these dishes and then take a picture of them? Because if so, you've got a talent there. Awesome recipes and pictures.
Ben, yes I do make the dishes, come up with the recipes, (after lots of testing) plate and take the pictures myself.
